Terms of service
The agreement between you and Cited when you use cited.io or the Cited app.

The agreement
These terms are between you and Cited LLC, a California limited liability company (“Cited”, “we”, “us”), and apply when you use cited.io, the Cited app at app.cited.io and the services we provide through them (the “Service”). By using the Service you accept them, and if you use it for an organization, you confirm you may accept them for it. A signed agreement or order with us applies where it differs. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and give accurate information. Keep your password safe: you’re responsible for activity in your account and for the people you invite.
Your content
What you add to Cited stays yours. You let us use it only to provide, secure and improve the Service. You’re responsible for having the right to use it and to connect the accounts you connect.
Connected Google accounts
When you connect a Google account, you allow Cited to use it as you chose on Google’s screen, and you can disconnect at any time. You confirm you’re allowed to connect each account, such as with the business owner’s permission when you connect it for a client.
We make changes in a connected account only when you ask us to or your order includes that work. We never delete your sites, properties or listings, or change who has access to them. Google’s terms still apply to your Google account, and Google decides what it shows, such as whether a post or business detail goes live.
Results
Much of what Cited shows comes from third parties, such as AI answers, search results and search volume estimates. These may be incomplete or wrong, and we don’t guarantee any ranking, mention, traffic or other result.
Payment
Paid plans and services are priced in your order and billed in advance, plus any taxes. Fees aren’t refundable unless your order says so. We may pause the Service for late payment after telling you, and we’ll give 30 days’ notice of price changes. Paid services are governed by our Client Services Agreement, which takes priority over these terms.
Acceptable use
Don’t use the Service unlawfully, access accounts or systems that aren’t yours, scrape, resell or reverse engineer it, get around its limits, or overload or harm it.
Our rights
The Service, its software and the Cited brand belong to us. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Cited and delete your account at any time, subject to the minimum term and notice period in your Client Services Agreement if you buy paid services. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or don’t pay, telling you first where we can.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is”, without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We aren’t liable for indirect or consequential damages or lost profits or data, and our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. You’ll cover our reasonable costs of claims caused by your content or your breach of these terms.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by California law, and disputes will be decided only in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
Changes and general terms
We may update these terms and will tell you at least 30 days before a significant change takes effect. These terms are the whole agreement between us about the Service; if a part can’t be enforced, the rest still applies, and you can’t transfer them without our consent.
